Long time no write, huh?
Anywho, the parents came to see the new residence this weekend. Only one minor electrocution took place, but now I have an entrance light! Thanks for taking those 7 volts, Dad.
My mom brought me a calendar of Japanese wood block prints that just happened to match my bathroom perfectly - seriously - moms have ESP, don't they? So she took a paint chip from the wall and headed home with them to frame me some for the bathroom walls.
I am sitting here at work (9:25 pm) waiting for the final check of a proposal that we are working up so I can get the hell out of here. It's not even my project, but the other admin disappeared in the middle of the day and no one knew where she went - so I got stuck finishing this thing up.
I should not complain about getting overtime. I know. Not everyone else is in the situation I am with having a busy and stable job.
Today is my birthday, too. And I am HUNGRY... what else can I complain about?
