March is supposed to make me feel all happy and springy. I guess not yet - just gray and rain for now. And cold.
The sheers arrived for ye olde living room! Woot - only been waiting 2 months for those. Now I will actually be able to not look like some sort of cheapskate who doesn't understand how curtains work in my own home. Heh.
Now to hang some artwork and throw away some boxes and we will be living in a home that doesn't seem like college students living out of boxes. I won't know how to act.
I should really buy some frames, but I know it would kill my mother if I did that. She would be all angry about how my cheapo prints weren't framed properly. But I need to get some stuff up, so I feel more settled. Well, that and so the cat can destroy my new things.
G'G' has gone feral in the new space of the condo. She talks. She stalks. She jumps on counters. All behaviour that never happened in the other apartments that she's lived with us in. I guess she was more caged lion in the smaller places.
Time to go grab my afternoon coffee and get back to reading analysis of the Bush Administration's authorization of torture and suspension of the Bill of Rights.
