Over the weekend, we made our first appliance purchase! Yay home ownership! We bought a dishwasher since the one we got with the house mainly just leaked water which is not as effective at cleaning dishes as you would like.
The freaky thing about this whole ordeal is that it has not been an ordeal at all. In fact, Best Buy has been super helpful and has waived delivery fees, moved up our delivery times by a week and changed the install date to be on the same day as delivery - ALL without us asking for this or even knowing it was possible. It's kinda weird when you start second-guessing good customer service.
Why would they do this? Oh yeah, it's called good customer service - it's what every company should be doing.
Well, thanks for the extra attention to detail so far, Best Buy. I guess if the dishwasher shows up broken and the install guy just plugs it into the vcr or something - heads will roll. But until then - kudos!
