some days it takes all my power to not beat the shit out of people who are just stupid. But, alas, I have taken a non-violence stance. Stupid me.
Anyone *any Cheney anywhere* who advocates torture, but refuses then to allow police to use torture against our own citizens. I mean, seriously, why would they want to endanger the public like that? Seems absolutely necessary to torture everyone just in case they know something. In fact, I'm thinking Cheney keeps alluding to the fact that we are less safe, what is it that he exactly knows? Why isn't he telling us? Is he just waiting to be waterboarded 183 times?
And then this b.s. from Republicans and business groups angry about the EPA basically saying climate change exists:
The memo says the EPA could have been "more balanced" in its analysis by also highlighting regions of the country that would benefit from global warming, such as Alaska, which would have warmer winters.
I don't know - I mean, sure - the people in Alaska don't like their polar bears and their salmon or their ski resorts that much. Who the hell even wants all 4 seasons? Seems like a waste to me.
I mean, come on, every single place must be like Florida or it's not even a real place. Of course, Florida would probably become a desert wasteland (yay! who doesn't love deserts?) or maybe just be under water, but again - YAY water park! Who doesn't want MORE water?
Who are these crazy liberals who want to sustain our way of life? Off with their heads! Dance til we're dead!
Can't we just shoot these people on the grounds that they are endangering us like terrorists? It seems like the only way to keep us "safe". Better safe than sorry, I say.
