A weekend without plans. How nice does that sound? Maybe I will get some beach time or maybe it will end up being a busy fun-filled weekend. Don't care.

Oh, I started reading "Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World" about a kitty in Spencer, IA - Ray's hometown. BTW - Ray's copy is signed by Dewey and the author. I'm not sure when Dewey learned to write, but his signature looks very similar to Vicki's - coincidence?

Anyway this book has already broken my heart in a million pieces with all it's love by a kitten. Seriously - don't make me read about animals getting harmed - it will destroy me. Humans? not so much. I had to grab G'G' and force her to be lovey because I don't want her to ever leave me.

Dewey was a total lover and just the fact that he found such a great home made me cry. Bawling like a baby and he's been there a whole week so far? Man, alive. Ray jokes that this will probably be the movie he makes called, "For Sparky's Tears" which we always joke about. I am a pretty easy cryer if things ring true to me.

Can't wait to finish up this cute little story from my home state of Iowa. Yay, library cats!
