This weekend was too full of things to do that I'm now poor, poor, poor. $40 until Friday!
We went to Gloomy's birthday party and there were no mass burnings or amputations as expected for her 41st. This year it just was a normal birthday party. On the way home through the Morseland parking lot, Ray and I came across the best urban thing ever. There was a group of girls on a blanket behind a car. Tailgating in a bar's parking lot!
We decided that one of the girl's paid for that parking space and considered it her outdoor space or patio and was going to use it, dammit, cuz it's nice out! They had a little picnic with snacks and wine - all out there in the open for all to see. One of the best things about Rogers Park is that no one thinks that is weird. Of course, you lay out a blanket and drink in your parking spot.
