I'm back from vacation and trying to get used to the cold weather and grayness outside since it was 80 and sunny the whole time I was in New Orleans and Mobile. Well, except for the last night of the Bayfest when we got poured on right at the last minute. Never fear for we had visited Walmart earlier and purchased rain gear.
I didn't get any gumbo or jambalaya while I was in the south. My bad. Everyone keeps asking me if I had any and no, no I did not. It's almost like I was never in New Orleans. Hee.
